Brand Strategy workshops are the foundation of Eklipsa. They transform your brand knowledge into structured Brand Intelligence that powers all AI-generated content.
When you save answers, Eklipsa may add or update draft strategy fields. To review them, open Brand Intelligence (the control center at /brand-intelligence) — reachable from the Strategy landing page (/strategy) or its sidebar submenu. Brand Intelligence opens with a What needs your attention zone (draft fields to review, context gaps), then a sticky sub-nav across organized zones: At a glance (completeness ring, context review, active decisions, and freshness), What AI sees (the per-surface Snapshot tab strip — Halo Chat, Studio text/visual/voice — with source badges showing whether each block came from a workshop decision, an approved strategy field, or Brand Rules), context health and inventory, Active context (a tabbed card with Draft fields and Approved fallback fields — approve, edit, or reject draft fields; edit or remove approved fields), and lower down the operational Usage & budget and change log. Approved insights live in the Insights library and fuel Workshop AI — they never enter Brand Intelligence. Formal strategy publishes only through workshop decisions. Strategy in the sidebar is the workflow landing (Discovery → Research → Insights → Workshops → Messaging → Visual Foundation → Strategy Review → Brand Intelligence → Brand Standards). Workshops is one step (/workshops). The URL /strategy/workshops forwards to the workshops list; legacy /workshop bookmarks redirect to /workshops.
What Are Brand Strategy Workshops?
Brand Strategy workshops are three sequential modules that guide you through defining your brand's core identity. Your answers are compiled into a comprehensive Brand Strategy (Brand Intelligence) that ensures all AI-generated content aligns perfectly with your brand.
Plan about 30-60 minutes total for the full three-module journey (Brand Core, Brand Positioning, Brand Persona). Progress auto-saves as you go, and you can use Save & Exit at any point to continue later.
Without completed Brand Strategy, AI tools generate generic content. With Brand Strategy (Brand Intelligence), every piece of content sounds authentically like your brand.
The Three Workshop Modules
1. Brand Core (15 cards)
The Brand Core module helps you define the fundamental elements of your brand:
- Mission & Vision: What you do and where you're going
- Core Values: The principles that guide your decisions
- Brand Purpose: Your "why" — the reason you exist
- Target Audience: Who you serve and their needs
This module must be completed first. It establishes the foundation that Positioning and Persona build upon.
2. Brand Positioning (18 cards)
The Brand Positioning module clarifies how you fit in the market:
- Unique Value Proposition: What makes you different and better
- Market Position: Where you stand relative to competitors
- Competitive Advantages: Your key differentiators
- Positioning Strategy: How you want to be perceived
3. Brand Persona (13 cards)
The Brand Persona module establishes your brand's personality:
- Personality Traits: Human characteristics your brand embodies
- Voice & Tone: How you speak and communicate
- Communication Style: Formal vs casual, technical vs accessible
- Brand Archetype: The universal character your brand represents
How Brand Strategy Compilation Works
After completing all three workshops, Eklipsa automatically compiles your Brand Strategy (Brand Intelligence) using specialized synthesis algorithms:
Some synthesis cards generate drafts from your previous answers. Click Generate (or wait when auto-generation starts), then edit the draft once it appears below the card. If you leave before a draft appears, Eklipsa retries when you return.
Analyzes your answers across 42 distinct brand characteristics
Generates a score measuring depth, specificity, consistency, and clarity
Creates context that powers all AI content generation
Produces exportable Brand Book as DOCX
Unlocking Brand Intelligence, Halo Chat, and Halo Studio
These surfaces stay locked until your brand foundation setup is complete:
- Brand foundation project — start from Strategy → Discovery (or create a Brand foundation project on Projects)
- Discovery brief — at least 50% of the foundation project brief filled in
- Workshops — all three Brand Strategy modules complete
- Activated Brand Intelligence — at least one published decision active in the bundle (publish from Strategy Review)
Until then, you can still work in Discovery, Research, Workshops, and Strategy Review. Client engagement projects on Projects stay separate and do not replace the brand foundation project.
Take your time with each workshop. Thoughtful, detailed answers lead to better AI-generated content that truly represents your brand.
If you work in a Strategy project, open workshops from the project hub or Strategy page so your saved discovery and linked source findings inform Suggest answer and Facilitator Tips. While you work through cards, a Project context badge appears in the workshop header when that context is attached. That context is supporting input only — it does not replace approved Brand Intelligence decisions.
On workshop input cards, Suggest answer lets you choose Safe vs Bolder intensity and Concise vs Strategic Depth. On checkbox-style cards (Differentiators, Brand Tensions, Voice Attributes, Style Attributes), Concise keeps suggestions mapped to checklist labels, while Strategic Depth returns custom strategic lists you can apply directly. You can also add your own custom option text manually on those cards when checklist labels are too generic.
